Intermediate Screen Printing

Tent City Press is a member-based community print studio based in Anchorage Alaska.  Founded by a group of working printmakers, TCP provides resources, equipment, and instruction to further their member’s artistic endeavors as well as elevate the medium of printmaking in the city of Anchorage.Our home is within the 4th Avenue Marketplace in beautiful Downtown Anchorage, up the hill from the site of the original “Tent City” that founded Anchorage in 1915 in Ship Creek.

<P><SPAN CLASS="_4n-j _3cht fsl">Intermediate Screen Printing is a three session workshop taking a deeper dive into screen printing. It's recommended that students have taken either the Screen Printing Essentials workshop or are familiar with screen printing. The workshop, taught by Will Dowd, is at Tent City Press (in our new location!) on Saturday, November 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 2pm-5pm. Will has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alaska Anchorage and has exhibited work in Alaska since 2014. Supplies are included, and seating is limited to 5. This is a hands on workshop so please bring an apron or don't wear your dress clothes!</SPAN></P>
