Students must know how to change the metering mode, focusing mode, white balance, picture style, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO of their camera in manual mode and using other camera functions. It is the responsibility of the photographer to know how to change the settings of their respective camera maker.

Intermediate photography in the field workshop is geared towards students who have a few years of photography experience and who already know how the change many camera settings and want to learn more about getting better images. The workshop focuses on DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.
