Build on your improv skills by creating characters and making connections within your scenes over this 8-week program culminating in a show! We will explore ways to create and sustain characters as well as enhance your scenework by making meaningful connections with your scene partners. Each week we will learn and laugh and we will end with a showcase for friends, family, and the public on September 19th. It's sure to be an outrageously good time! Some improv experience required through previous Roanoke Improv Comedy course completion or instructor approval.
Classes are on Saturdays 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8, 8/15 (no class 8/22), 8/29, 9/5, 9/12 from 1pm - 3pm

Brian has had a love for comedy and acting for as long as he can remember. He began performing improv as a student (now graduate) at the College of William and Mary. Continuing his journey, he studied at the iO Theatre and The Second City in Chicago. He has been performing and teaching in Virginia since 2015 at comedy clubs, businesses, and festivals such as the Roanoke Comedy Fest, 2nd Best Fest (Richmond), Last Word Comedy Festival (Williamsburg), MAGfest (National Harbor, MD), and Floyd Fest. His favorite improviser is his five-year-old daughter who keeps him on his toes daily.
