INTERMEDIATE CONCEALED CARRY FUNDAMENTALS
Ready to take your concealed carry skills to the next level? Join us for our Intermediate Concealed Carry Fundamentals course at the Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Association. This course will cover intermediate to advanced techniques, situational awareness, and defensive strategies to enhance your self-defense capabilities.
For anyone who carries a firearm concealed and has some shooting experience, this class is perfect for you! Our experienced instructors will provide hands-on training and personalized feedback to help ensure you leave feeling more confident and prepared for that worst case situation.
To attend this course, students must have attended Concealed Carry Fundamentals 1 or a similar course, or be willing to participate in a shooting qualification prior to the date of the course, which will be conducted with 1:9 Tactical staff. Students with formal firearms training or significant experience with a firearms will be considered for this course.
This course will present drills focusing on overcoming obstacles/stress during your draw; target acquisitioning; multiple targets; using cover/concealment; one hand shooting; close combat encouters; shoot/don't shoot; and more.
Students must have a safe and secure holster capable of concealing their firearm on their person. No purse carry, sorry. Students should have a firearm, at least 3 magazines, 300 rounds of factory ammunition; eye and ear protection; and a desire to learn and have a great time at the range.
Optional recommended but not required gear: concealed magazine carrier pouch; kneepads; hat w/ brim; appropriate caliber dummy rounds.
This course is designed around concealed carry, recommended to wear "every day" clothing that is similar to what you would be wearing in a "real life situation".
