When to arrive?

The workshop will start promptly at 9am so we suggest you plan transportation to arrive by at least 8:45am for time to park, make it through security, and walk to the classroom.

Where to park?

The Huntington has free parking for visitors. The gardens will not be open when you arrive, however, you will be able to park. A LAPNet member will be by security to take you to the workshop space, Melanie’s classroom.

Lunch

Lunches will not be provided. So feel free to bring your own or the Huntington has a cafeteria on site.

What to bring?

All tools and materials required for the workshop will be provided.

What should you wear?

Closed toe shoes are required for safety, preferably ones that you can stand in for long stretches of time. Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing as well. And if you have your own apron or work smock please bring it.

Access to Library and Gardens

Note the Huntington Gardens are open 10am-5pm but you will need to purchase a ticket to enter, we do not get free entry as part of the workshop.
