Intergenerational Programs
Overview
Connect with your community! Have fun and join us for programs for ages 18+. These intergenerational programs are offered at Arbor Row Center on the second Wednesday of every month in partnership with Tysons Community Alliance.
The programs will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. Registration required.
December 10th: Holiday Concert with Volodymyr Sukhin
Enjoy holiday hits and timeless classics as we celebrate togetherness, joy, and hope. Sing along, tap your toes, and let the magic of the season lift your spirits!Join us for a festive musical event featuring Volodymyr Sukhin, Honored Artist of Ukraine and European vocal contest winner.
January 14th: Knitting Night with Project Knitwell.
Beginner to advanced knitters welcome! Instruction and materials provided.
February 11th: Sound Bath & Meditation.
Join us for a nourishing soundscape journey, where you’ll be gently guided into deep relaxation through the soothing resonance of alchemy crystal singing bowls, soft chimes, and other grounding instruments. Yoga mats and blankets provided. You are welcome to bring your own along with anything that helps you feel cozy & supported (eye mask, bolster, etc.).
Arbor Row Center offers a variety of wellness, lifelong learning, and creative engagement opportunities for adults 50+ in Fairfax County.
Arbor Row Center is a partnership between The Mather and Fairfax County's Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS). The center is sponsored by The Mather, a Life Plan Community for those 62+.
