Interfest is a free arts and ideas festival for liberationists to radically engage, boldly express and joyously unify as a community. Sabbath Dreaming: Rest as a Liberation Practice with Tricia Hersey of the Nap Ministry followed by an audience Q&A

 In this immersive lecture and question and answer session, Tricia Hersey, founder of The Nap Ministry, will uplift the radical power of naps and rest as a form of resistance and reparations. During our practice together, we will interact with images, music, poetry, meditation, and collective dreaming to empower our tired bodies and minds to soul care and self-reflection. The experience is an intentional and slow exploration of the importance of creating a sustainable rest practice as a part of our journey towards liberation.

The Qi Gong wellness lifestyle is a major component to his life and outlook on the world. He chooses to be an example to his elders and youth by being a daily reminder to the connection they are missing with life when our minds, posture and breathing are out of alignment. The art of Qi Gong and Tai Chi can be used as a bridge to get you back to a place of optimum health. Ronnie has been practicing Qi Gong for a number of years, he believes that the healing effects are undeniable but it takes a committed and consistent effort to yourself to heal yourself.
