In Imperfecta’s installation area, artists Jacqueline Myers-Cho and Patricia Anders explore the parallels between human emotional networks and the fungal communication systems that exist beneath the forest floor. Through suspended whimsical handmade figures, connective fiber threads, and a sculptural textile mycelial landscape, the installation visualizes the invisible systems of care, exchange, and interdependence that sustain life.

In Imperfecta’s Other Ways of Seeing area, a selection of antique textile garments from the collection of prominent enamel and cloissoné artist Martha Banyas are showcased to open a conversation about the role that global trading plays in how diverse cultures and ways of seeing entwine - conversation that will be deepened through a live panel with Michale Hoeye and Prof. Sonja Dahl (Art & Design department at University of Oregon).
