The University of Minnesota's BioTechnology Institute is pleased to announce its 2018 Science is Visual Medium lecture series with a keynote presentation by Daniel Keefe, Associate Professor in the Department Computer Science & Engineering and Director of the University of Minnesota’s Interactive Visualization Lab.

Dan’s talk will be followed by roundtable discussions exploring the potential of data visualization and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration between the science and the arts.

Science is Visual Medium explores the intersection between science, communication and design through lectures, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
