About this event

Hello! Welcome to the pinkFROG Cafe Interactive Live Music and Spontaneous Jam Session.

Every Sunday from 6:30-9:30pm the house band invites musicians to join the stage and create music on the spot. We rely on comments from the audience to help us develop an idea and make things interesting.

If you are a musician you are welcome to bring your instrument and join us on stage. If you are part of the audience and just wanna enjoy the night, bring your most creative self and help us come up with ideas, stories, obscure references, anything you wanna talk about, and allow the band to make some live fully improvised music. There are NO wrong answers!!

Everything you see on the video above is fully improvised!!

This is a NON ticketed event with a ***1-2 Drinks minimum***

Frequently asked questions

How much does it costs to attend?

This is a FREE event, but we do ask that you please support the venue with the purchase of at least 1-2 drinks or meals.

What kind of music do you guys play?

We are always looking into exploring new sounds and creating music. To put it simply - during the jam session we try to keep it all improvised - Sometimes we might play something funky, sometimes swing, sometimes rock and so on. There are no wrong answers as long as we listen to each other.

What level of musicians do you accept?

While the house band is always killing it and the musicians are of the highest caliber, during the Jam session we are open for all levels. We ask if you are a beginner, be patient and try to listen more than playing. Use this as a chance to learn. And for advanced players, lead the way!

Do I need to bring my own instrument?

Unless you are a drummer, piano or singer, YES, you do need to bring your instrument. While the house band sometimes can be very nice on landing their gear, it is preferred that musicians bring their own.

As an audience member, what can I expect?

During the event. The hosts will communicate with the audience asking things like: "What should our next song be about?" "Can anyone give us a theme in which we can create music from?" - Thats your cue to interact and help the musicians. No wrong answers. Feel free to also just watch and chill!

I really wanna go but I can't make it. What can I do to support?

You can first help us by following us in all socials! Links in the description. And if you really want to be part of the show, text us some ideas, and we will video record it and post the following week and tag you, so you can see what your idea came out to be!
