Join Brick + Beam for our Insurance & Security Social! It's like an ice-cream social, except we'll be talking about home insurance for and securing your rehab project! And while there won't exactly be ice cream, there will be experts who can help you figure out 1) how to navigate the (tricky) world of home/property insurance and 2) give you ideas for keeping your rehab project safe while you work on it.

Ashaki Malone, property insurance guru, and Adam Helfman of Hire It Done, who works with the Detroit Land Bank Authority securing Rehabbed & Ready properties, will offer tips and tricks to make securing home insurance and your property a little less daunting.

Presentations will be short, so you'll have plenty of time to mingle with the experts and fellow rehabbers who have been through it and can share what worked for them!

We'll provide refeshments + some of Chef Angela's tasty treats! Specialty coffee drinks and additional food options available for purchase.
