This is an Instructor-Led Remote Course that is broadcast by a private Livestream broadcast during a regularly scheduled on-site Instructor-Led Course. The Instructorcertification recognized and-Led Remote Food Safety Course is based on the 2022 FDA Food Code and taught in the format of the inspection report to allow participants to understand what the local regulator is reviewing in their operation. Upon completing the Instructor-Led Remote training, the participant can schedule an exam with Remote Online Proctoring with Proctor U (View Procedures).
ServSafe® Certification Testing
More than 4 million food service professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Conference for Food Protection (CFP). ServSafe meets the requirements of federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.
The ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Exam is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. The exam consists of 80 and 10 pilot questions, will take approximately 2 hours to complete, and requires a passing score of 70%.

Regulatory Requirements
As stated in the FDA Food Code - Section 2-102.12: The Person In Charge (PIC) shall be the Certified Food Protection Manager. All registrations will receive a confirmation email with downloadable training materials, a PDF of the presentation, and the URL of the Livestream. If you would like a copy of the current ServSafe® Book you may purchase it at an added cost - ServSafe® Manager Training and Certification Exam Products. HRBUniversal does not require the book to attend the Instructor-Led Virtual Course but does strongly suggest you have a copy to prepare for the exam.
