This event is open to employees of US Tribal governments and intertribal consortia and is hosted by the Tribal Exchange Network Group (TXG).
This event runs from 4-6 June 2024, from 9:00 am-2:00 pm Pacific Time each day.
This online event is an example-driven three-day workshop on basic computing skills. Short tutorials alternate with hands-on practical exercises, and participants are encouraged both to help one another, and to try applying what they have learned to their own research problems during and between sessions. Participants have their own laptop to work on. This should be a "real" laptop - not a Chromebook, tablet, etc. You should also be sure to have admin privileges on this computer so that you can download appropriate software and datasets.
Additional details about this workshop will be sent via email to approved registrants at least one week prior to the scheduled start.
