Leilani

Leilani is an award-winning spoken word poet and multi-hyphenate theater creative originally from Honolulu currently based in Bushwick. She has performed all around New York City and Honolulu, has featured at various venues and has won multiple awards in the slam circuit, including being a winner of the Honolulu Poetry Slam and at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. She was the director, producer, writer and actor of an original devised piece “Standing Proud: a Collection of Asian Voices”, which garnered her the inaugural Excellence in Scholarship and Research Award at Chapman University. She is passionate about writing on the issues and injustices that she sees in the world around her and has a strong belief that spoken word is a powerful platform in amplifying unheard stories and marginalized voices.Writing and performing is an honor and privilege for her, and she can’t wait to continue doing this for the rest of her life.


Dwayne Bishop

Dwayne Bishop, a spoken word and hip hop artist from East New York, discovered his passion for poetry through the influence of Saul Williams. During his time at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, he founded and led the "Shut up and listen" club, providing a platform for diverse student expressions. For the last six yearsm, he's been showcasing his unique style inspired by the contrasting elements of wealth and ideologies in New York. Post-college, he has released multiple projects on various streaming platforms. Dwayne's artistic journey reflects a compelling narrative shaped by his upbringing and experiences.


Marilyn B.

Marilyn B. is a Salvadoran-American poet who was raised in Sunset Park but in but now lives in Bensonhurst. Influenced by rappers J. Cole and Lil Wayne, Marilyn says she has evolved from "a philosophical poet to a biblical spoken word artist." She started performing at school, then at the famous Urban Word and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, before ultimately becoming a competitor for Youth Poet Laureate and making her first grand appearance on the iconic stage of the Apollo Theater.


Glenn Robert Ford

Born in Clinton Hill, raised in Brighton Beach/Coney Island, Glenn Robert Ford is a multifaceted writer & entertainer who performed at Malcolm X's 50th Memorial and has also performed for Dwayne Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions. He is currently working on a poetry album dedicated to his parents titled, "Mike & Linda's Son".


Daniella Sinder

Daniella Sinder (she/they) is a Bushwick-based writer and actor. Her poetry heavily focuses on identity, relationships, and the love we fall into before learning to allocate some for ourselves. Their debut collection, Worm Mode, was released in the summer of 2023.


Tatyana Muradov

Tatyana Muradov was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to a small town in Texas where she grew up. She has been living in Williamsburg for the past 12 years. She has performed at Louder Arts, Urbana, KGB Bar, WAN Poetry, Dead Pete’s Society, etc. Her work has appeared in several publications such as Radius, The New Verse News, First Literary Review East, NYSAI Press, Great Weather for MEDIA, and Epiphany Magazine. Her recent chapbook Saudade can be found at Black Spring Books & Quimby’s Bookstore in Brooklyn. She has a poetry Instagram account @ms.muradov which features videos and small snippets of her work.
