This workshop will explore the concept of inspirational and transformative teaching in Higher Education.

KB112, Kemmy Business School

This workshop will enable participants to:1.Define transformative and inspirational teaching within their own disciplinary context.2. Consider the challenges of transformative teaching across the disciplines3. Explore avenues and possibilities for the development of strategies to demonstrate and employ this into their practice.4. Evaluate the potential for engagement with interdisciplinary/inter-institutional colleaguesIt will examine in an interactive and dynamic way the many possibilities open to those who teach. Participants will work across disciplines in terms of what this means for their own disciplines and how to garner and enhance both their teaching practice and the engagement of their students within this space.
