Originally founded in 2022 by students of Valerie Coleman at The New School, Mosaic Composers Collective (MoCoCo) has expanded to feature a wide range of young composers at varying stages in their respective careers.

What is SydeBoob Duo?

Made up of soprano vocalist Anna Elder and flutist Sarah Steranka, SydeBoob Duo performs and commissions contemporary chamber music at the highest level.

If I can't afford a ticket, can I still attend the performance?

YES! Mosaic Composers Collective is committed to removing cost barriers to our audiences for any reason. If buying a ticket is not possible for you, please email mosaiccomposerscollective@gmail.com to gain access to the event, free of charge.

Is this event accessible mobility-wise?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Karl Kemp Performance Space is ADA-compliant, and elevators are available to all guests.

Is this event accessible sensory-wise? (Pt. I)

Accepted Answer

Mosaic Composers Collective is not planning on a particularly loud performance, but we will provide foam ear plugs free of charge to any guests who would like them! There will be lighting (and shifts in lighting between pieces) throughout this performance, but there will be no flashing lights.

Is this event accessible sensory-wise? (Pt. II)

For interested guests, Mosaic Composers Collective provides silent fidget devices, which can be picked up at the door!

What does the venue look like?

We are unable to attach venue photos for interested guests on Eventbrite, but pictures of Karl Kemp Performance Space are available on the Balance Arts Center website.

Question 8

Is this event accessible health-wise?

Accepted Answer

Mosaic Composers Collective offers free masks (KN-95) to any interested guests. While seating at this event is generally close together in common concert viewing fashion, we are happy to accommodate – to the best of our ability – any guests that may need space away from large crowds.
