<SPAN TITLE="To give our children the chance to get acquainted with digital skills which are becoming more and more indispensable, just like reading, writing and knowing how to count: mastering of computer and programming tools.">Pour donner à nos enfants la possibilité de se familiariser avec les compétences numériques indispensables qui demain occuperont la même place que la lecture, l’écriture ou le calcul.
<SPAN TITLE="To give our children the chance to get acquainted with digital skills which are becoming more and more indispensable, just like reading, writing and knowing how to count: mastering of computer and programming tools.">Mais nos mentors ne donneront pas de cours de codage magistral.

English
Coding Goûter is a multilingual event (EN/FR/DE/LB) where kids between the ages of 6 and 12 years old, accompanied by an adult, will get to know the world of computer programming in a fun way. A hands-on approach to programming tools, robots, logic games, algorithm puzzles, etc.
<H2>Why are we organising this event?</H2>
To give our children the chance to get acquainted with digital skills which are becoming more and more indispensable, just like reading, writing and knowing how to count: mastering of computer and programming tools.
But our mentors will not be giving magisterial coding lessons. The main idea behind the Coding Goûter is rather that kids take their first coding steps together with their parents, under the helpful supervision of our Code Club coaches. And if you've been to a coding event before, then don't worry, experienced participants will also have their share of fun!
At the end of the day, families will have the tools, knowledge and inspiration to continue coding at home!
<H2>What should you bring?</H2>
Children should bring their own or their family's laptop. You don't own a laptop? No worries, we'll have some spare ones and other games for you. A tablet can also be useful for some activities.
And as in 'Coding Goûter', there is 'Goûter', which translates into 'Light Meal', the delicious part of the concept is the potluck: Every family should bring a little something (a cake, cookies, sweets, fruit or drinks) so that all participants can share a friendly moment at the end of the session.
