About this event

  • 8 hours

The Innovations in Mental Health Conference started as a partnership between Newport Healthcare and Sanford Behavioral health in Michigan in 2023. The conference offered a variety of speakers to the community and provided an avenue to highlight innovations within the state that deserved to be highlighted and shared.

As we move forward in 2024, Newport HealthCare, PrairieCare, and Bhakti Brain Clinic have brought this conference to Minnesota, bringing speakers sharing on topics touching hospitals and emergency rooms, schools, and the LGBTQIA+ community. We hope to not only continue to have this conference for years to come but see it grow throughout the country to highlight innovations throughout our field.

Lunch, snacks, and CE credits are included in the ticket price.

At Newport Healthcare, we believe in sustainable healing. We bring teens and young adults from self-destruction to self-esteem by treating primary mental health issues, addressing the underlying causes of high-risk behavior. We treat individuals ages 12–27 who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and/or trauma-related issues, along with co-occurring eating disorders and substance abuse. Through our clinical expertise and holistic care, we strive to help alleviate the stigma surrounding teen and young adult mental health.
