The Inner Loop is a literary community open to writers of all levels in and around Washington, DC. We turn the solitary act of writing into a shared experience by offering free programming for writers of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. Summer has finally arrived! Celebrate the summer solstice with us during our June reading featuring local writers of fiction, nonfiction &amp; poetry. We will also be featuring the incredible Bethanne Patrick and our June Author&#x27;s Corner Spotlight, John Kropf. Her work appears frequently in the Los Angeles Times as well as in The Washington Post, NPR Books, and Literary Hub. She sits on the board of the PEN/Faulkner Foundation and has served on the board of the National Book Critics Circle. She is the host of the Missing Pages podcast. His writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Middle West Review, and elsewhere. John currently works as an attorney in the Washington, DC, area and teaches at the George Washington University Law School. He lives in Arlington, VA with his wife Eileen, cat Poppy, and dog, Caia.
