What is Expressive Arts? | Expressive Arts is an interdisciplinary approach to art making where attention is focused around the creative process through play to develop personal insight and healing. How we are inspired by music, can inspire a movement, a word, and move us from one art form to another. The creative act is is born from a philosophical Expressive Arts term called 'Poises' understood by Stephen K. Levine as 'the capacity to respond to and shape the world'.
