Ingrid Gipson tells her story of a successful fashion designer and mother in Texas who left that life to pursue a personal and creative life. She has since become a successful artist and spends her time creating clay sculptures and hosting events at her studio gallery, Ingrid Gipson Sculptures Studio &amp; Gallery, located in Hodgen, Oklahoma.As an artist, Ingrid will tell you that she perceives herself as a storyteller. In her sculptures, Ingrid discovers unexpected role-models in religion, mythology, art and the collective analysis handed down through generations, to be paid attention to or not. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to become consciously aware of the collective human experience. In this documentary, filmmaker Morrisa Maltz peels away layers of Ingrid’s life and psychological landscape, questioning where that need to create comes from, while connecting it to larger human (and female) concepts we can all relate to. Proceeds benefit CAE and Community Rescue Mission.
