INGENIOUS Final Event

INGENIOUS is a European project funded by the European Union and the Republic of Korea under the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program. This research initiative proposes an integrated, reliable and cost-effective technology solution that ensures high level of protection and augmented operational capacity, assisting First Responders in saving more lives and being able to return from the disaster scene safe and sound. The project will deliver the innovative Next Generation Integrated Toolkit (NGIT), which integrates smart sensors, systems and Augmented Reality technologies, for both the First Responder himself and the accompanying K9 Units. Among other things the system will include wearables, communication and localization components, sensors, add-ons delivering augmented reality functions, smart devices in the air and on the ground, such as self-exploring drones, and also multi-fusion and expert reasoning modules, web and mobile applications, social media “push” and “pull” messaging etc.As such the NGIT will allow First Responders of different disciplines (police, fire service, emergency medical units or civil protection) to combine their strengths and experience, enhancing their common operational picture and increased situational awareness and understanding in order to act more safely and effectively together.Visit the official website of the project for more information: https://ingenious-first-responders.eu/Follow us on social media:Twitter --> https://twitter.com/INGENIOUS_EULinkedIn --> https://www.linkedin.com/company/ingenious-eu/YouTube --> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg36-fDKvObj9bTUZUwCLXQ

INGENIOUS H2020 Project

Join the INGENIOUS Final Event and learn about the results and achievements in the development of novel Technologies for first responders

FAST FACTSINGENIOUS Final Event Date: 31 January 2023 - Format: Online event-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The INGENIOUS Consortium is pleased to invite you to the INGENIOUS Final Event that will be held on Tuesday 31 January 2023, in a virtual mode. After three years and five months of productive research work and innovation the INGENIOUS partners are proud to showcase the project’s results and outcomes and demonstrate the final INGENIOUS solution for the First Responder (FR) of the Future: A Next Generation Integrated Toolkit (NGIT) for Collaborative Response, increasing protection and augmenting operational capacity. The technology providers and the practitioners of the project have worked closely together during these years both for the design and implementation of the technologies and in the Testing, Integration and Validation process to develop a Toolkit of advanced technologies that meet the needs and specific requirements of First Responders. The Toolkit consists of state-of-the-art technological equipment integrated in the uniform, boots and helmet of the First Responder to facilitate seamless and resilient interconnectivity and boost her/his awareness. Advanced technologies are also developed for the accompanying K9 Units. The INGENIOUS Final Event is the opportunity for the INGENIOUS partners to present the final Prototypes of the INGENIOUS NGIT and the successful integration among the various tools and components of the Toolkit developed with the ultimate goal of empowering the FR of the future to be fully aware, fully connected and fully integrated when operating at an emergency scene. The focus will be on presenting the main features, benefits and advances of the INGENIOUS technologies for the FR, as well as the results generated during the extensive testing and validation of the technologies in real field conditions and the exploitation actions. The presentations will be enhanced with videos documenting the results achieved during the project’s lifetime, while sharing valuable insights, perspectives and experiences of the INGENIOUS End Users from using the technologies in the field. Why join?By attending this event, you will be able to learn more about the functionalities and advantages of the INGENIOUS Technologies for First Responders, and the impact they have in the fields of Crisis Management and Security. You will also have the opportunity to get informed about the results and achievements throughout the lifetime of the project through videos. How to join?Save the date and register to join the INGENIOUS Final Event. Registration is free of charge but required.Upon your registration, you will receive an email with the connection details.More information about the event and the preliminary Agenda is available here: https://ingenious-first-responders.eu/ingenious-final-event-invitation/It will be our great pleasure to welcome you virtually to the Final Event of our project!
