Are you interested in getting exposure to the business world? Building your resume? Gaining experience working as part of a team? Find out if the University Economic Development Fellows (EDF) Consulting Program is right for you!
Sponsored by the Office of University Economic Development (UED), the EDF Consulting Program partners with local companies to provide business consulting opportunities for graduate/professional students and postdocs. Modeled after a management consulting engagement, the interdisciplinary consulting team (approximately five students) will work with clients to develop strategies that address challenges clients are facing.
Project cycles occur three times a year, starting in January, May and September, and typically last 12 weeks. Participation on a consulting team is unpaid; however volunteers are selected through a competitive process. No previous business or consulting experience is required and applications from all fields and disciplines are encouraged.
