In just one month this summer, no prior experience is required — just interest in a career in a high demand field. Get no-cost hands-on training and a certificate to qualify for jobs in building electrification in New York — plus you'll earn a $500 stipend.

Now recruiting for the 2026 Summer Intensive Cohort

The free program runs July 6 to July 30, Monday-Thursday, 9AM to 3 PM. On completion, you'll earn an industry-recognized certificate and a $500 stipend. Plus you'll receive career readiness training and placement support.

Open to high school students and residents in the South Bronx

The program is offered by Bronx Community College and BXDesign, with funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
