Event description
The NSF I-Corps program provides $50,000 grants and uses experiential education to help researchers commercialize their inventions.

About this event

NSF I-Corps (pronounced "eye-core") is an accelerator program created by the NSF to help translate scientific and engineering discoveries into commercial ventures.

Participating teams receive a $50,000 grant and gain real-world, hands-on, immersive learning about what it takes to successfully transfer knowledge into products and processes that benefit society. The NSF runs at least three cohorts a quarter, at sites around the country.

The I-Corps program is for NYU faculty, researchers and their collaborators with research or an invention they are seeking to commercialize through a startup venture.

RSVP for a virtual info session today to learn about how to participate in the program from Frank Rimalovski, Executive Director of the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute. Zoom links will be sent to those who RSVP.

The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need. Please email carol.ourivio@nyu.edu for assistance.
