Who you gonna call when the world freezes over? Sony Pictures Imageworks! On May 2nd, join Christian Cloud, Intel’s Media and Entertainment Segment Manager, along with Sony Imageworks Associate VFX Supervisor, Ben Aguillon and FX Supervisor, Spencer Lueders for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

This third installment of Infinity Festival’s all-new educational series is co-sponsored by VIEW Conference, an international VFX computer graphics conference held in Turin, Italy. Hosted by Infinity Festival Host, Lori H. Schwartz, the monthly educational forum focuses on education and offers students, alumni and aspiring professionals a unique opportunity to connect with our vibrant community and network with fellow enthusiasts in the tech and entertainment realms.

Associate VFX Supervisor, Ben Aguillon has been with Sony Imageworks for over 18 years, serving in various capacities - Look Development and Lighting Technical Director, Sequence Lead, CG Supervisor, and DXF Supervisor. His credits include: the Academy Award®-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Academy Award®-nominated The Mitchells vs. The Machines, Men in Black: International, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

FX Supervisor, Spencer Lueders has been with Sony Imagewors for over a decade. He has supervised and mentored artists over multiple projects, including: the Academy Award®-nominated The Mitchells vs. The Machines and The Sea Beast, Men in Black: International, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

For each event, we will all gather in Aster Park located on the second floor for meet & greet from 6pm-7pm where snacks and beverages will be provided. Followed by programming from 7-8pm. Following each showcase, recharge your social batteries with networking opportunities at the Lemon Grove on the beautiful Aster rooftop. Food and Drinks will be available for purchase on the rooftop.
