The Spotlight On…Series, presented by Duke Energy, was created to help attendees get to know the communities of the Indy region. Each installment showcases a different community within Indy’s nine-county region, shares key happenings, and connects priority projects across community lines.

A seasoned public servant with extensive experience in municipal leadership, Mayor Furgeson has a clear vision for Shelbyville's future—one that promotes economic prosperity and opportunity for all residents. On June 7, he'll share his plans to promote economic prosperity in Shelbyville and the Indy region.
The Spotlight On...Shelbyville takes place in person at the historic Blessings Opera House in the heart of Shelbyville's Public Square. We invite you to arrive early to participate in open networking and enjoy coffee and pastries before the conversation begins at 9 a.m.
