<h2>Join us for a 3 hour indigo shibori dyeing workshop! </h2><p></p><h3>Shibori is the Japanese technique of resist dyeing with indigo to create beautiful geometric and organic patterns on fabric.  We will use various materials to bind, twist, and bunch the fabric to resist the dye to create patterns in blue and white.  Indigo is a natural dye created from the<em> indigofera</em> plant and is used by many different cultures throughout history.  </h3><h3></h3><p></p>

<h3>In the workshop, you will learn different techniques and be able to try them out on your own garments or cloth.  Items to dye must be natural fibers (cotton, linen, or silk) white (or light color), and small-medium sized such as t-shirts, tote bags, dish towels, or pillow cases.  We will also provide one small item for you to dye.
