InDepth is an evolution of the State of Black Educators Symposium, focusing on immersive, hands-on professional learning experiences designed to equip educators with practical tools and strategies for addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.

Why has SBE transitioned to InDepth?

The transition is in response to feedback from our community and the growing demand for deeper, more practical engagement. The success of our professional learning sessions highlighted the need for a format that offers more hands-on, actionable learning opportunities.

When and where will InDepth take place?

The first InDepth event will take place in February 21, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Can I wait to get my ticket at the door for InDepth?

While the Symposium had a capacity of 2,000, InDepth will be capped at 250 attendees to maximize the format. We share this with the understanding that many will not be able to attend  InDepth. We strongly recommend you register as soon as registration opens.
