Donal is the Senior Director of Data Science for the past 3 years, based in Indeed's Austin office. He was previously working as a Data Scientist in Google for more than 6 years. Donal has been helping people get jobs for the past two years. He estimates that if Indeed keeps growing at its current rate, we’ll employ over 50% of the world’s workforce by 2038, just before civilization collapses because of the Year 2038 Problem. Until then, though, Donal is going to use math, science, and software to help millions of people make smarter, faster and geekier employment decisions.

He is fully embedded with our product team as an analytics and modelling expert. He helps people get jobs by discovering compensation insights, through exploratory data analytics and machine learning. Prior to joining Indeed, he has hacked Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers, soldered sensor boards, written signal processing code on fixed-point micro-controllers, designed and implemented real-time crowd monitoring algorithms (in that order). He continues fantasizing about becoming a "full-stack" technologist.

She works closely with product teams and helps them make data-driven decisions. She helps improve experiment practices, evaluate new experiment methodology, and predict advertiser churn. She organizes Data Science meetups in the Tokyo office and is enthusiastic about learning. Outside of work, Ying-Ting enjoys traveling around Japan and exploring Japanese culture. Before joining Indeed Tokyo, Ying-Ting studied and worked in several cities, including Hong Kong, St. Louis, Washington DC, Taipei and Bangkok.
