Ignite your classroom with the Building Thinking Classrooms workshop! Transform your teaching practices and empower students to think and engage like never before!
This workshop is designed to empower 3-12 educators with practical strategies for increasing student thinking and engagement in the classroom. Based on Peter Liljedahl's Building Thinking Classrooms framework, participants will explore 14 teaching practices that have been proven to enhance learning across various subjects. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, educators will learn how to implement these practices systematically to create a dynamic learning environment where students are actively engaged in thinking and learning.
Workshop Objectives:
- Understand the principles of the Building Thinking Classrooms framework.
- Explore the 14 teaching practices for enhancing student thinking and engagement.
- Learn how to implement each practice effectively in the classroom.
- Reflect on current teaching practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop an action plan for integrating the optimal practices into daily instruction.

Pay via Invoice
If you need to pay for your registration via invoice, you may do so by selecting your ticket and then choosing the invoice option at check out.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made before the payment settles (usually within 24 hours) will be 100% refunded. Cancellations made 7 calendar days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 90% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days of the event will receive a 75% refund.
Please note this event will be held in person. In the case of unforeseen circumstances (such as inclement weather or situations beyond our control), alternative arrangements will be considered. Thank you for your understanding and enthusiasm for our commitment to in-person engagement.
