About this event

Come dance with us in this free inclusive Ballroom/Latin class. Open to seated and standing students ages 18+ of all skill levels. Ballroom dance pro Jason Rivers will teach you all you need to know as you learn the fundamentals of the Waltz. Class starts with a warm-up, line dance, and progresses into partnering and Waltz choregraphy. No need to worry about about partner; we change up throughout the class. Frequently asked questions

Do I have to have dance experience?

While previous dance experience would be helpful, it's not required for participation. All that we ask is you be willing to try something new!

Since this is a daytime class is childcare available?

Unfortunately, we don't provide childcare during class time. In order to provide a safe and distraction-free environment for all, we ask that you not bring young children to class.

Is there free parking?

Definitely! Class is located in the Park de La Cruz gym, which offers plenty of free parking close next to the building. Additionally, there is a large driveway which is perfect for MTS Paratransit drop-off and pick-up.

Is the building accessible for wheelchairs and other devices?

Yes. The building is one story and doorways are wide enough to accommodate both manual and power wheelchairs. There are two ADA-compliant restrooms for your use as well.

Are service dogs allowed?

Yes. In accordance with the ADA, task-trained service/alert dogs are permitted to be with you in class. Pets and ESAs are not permitted to be in the building.

What is inclusive dance?

Inclusive or integrated dance is dance programming that is open to Disabled people as well as non-disabled people of all skill levels.
