Hike Overview

Give a quick heads up on what to expect during the hike and a little time to get the kiddos ready with bug spray, sunscreen, etc.

9:30 AM - 10:15 AM

Hike to Falls

This hike won’t be about getting to the destinations as quick as possible. We want the kids to be able to explore while also trying to teach them about the nature they’re wandering through!

10:15 AM - 10:45 AM

Spend Time at Falls

Great place to let the kids check out the waterfalls and the creek while also being able to stop for a snack, water and pictures of course!

10:45 AM - 11:00 AM

Hike Back

The final stretch! It’s a little quicker on the way back because we know it’s usually getting close to naptime and the kiddos patience has ran out!

About this event

  • 2 hours

This will be a 1-2 hour guided hike to the Coal Creek Falls! Just a short walk from the trail head it is the perfect length for you and your child. There are lots bridges, foliage and not to mention the waterfall for you kids to see and play along the way!

Can I come alone?

Unfortunately this hike is for parents and caregivers with their children only!

What if my child isn’t in to it?

We make the hikes easy to get back just in case of emergency or if your little one’s energy or patience has run out!

What should I bring?

The essentials to bring are water, snack, bug spray, sunscreen, change of clothes! We will bring first aid materials but it’s always good to have extra!
