DuPage Monarch Project

The  iNaturalist tutorial will cover recording observations of wildlife and plants by using the smart phone app or a camera and computer.

The iNaturalist tutorial offers a new way of enjoying nature and prepares you for participating in the DuPage Monarch Project BioBlitz. The iNaturalist app records sightings of wildlife and plants and uses the community of users to confirm their identification. Observations are collected into a personal account and can be shared with projects, like the DuPage Monarch Project BioBlitz.The DuPage Monarch Project blitz focuses on pollinators found in DuPage County. The data creates a foundation for conservation policies and evaluating their impact on monarch butterflies, bees and other pollinators.
