SUMMARY:
We are utilizing the digital space now more than ever for everything from ordering food to buying a car. It provides endless possibilities for everyone, right? Unfortunately, one in four Americans lives with some type of impairment that can make it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to interact with businesses online. Despite advancing technology, many websites fail to take the necessary steps to include accessible data for assistive technologies. This talk will dive into what web accessibility means and who it impacts, both from the business and consumer side. We’ll explore actionable steps you can take to work to make your digital media more accessible, and profitable.
