In the Red

The Flaming Lotus Girls are a female-driven, San Francisco-based group of artists who have been making kinetic, mechanical fire art since 2000. We create interactive, large-scale installations that engage viewers and invite them to become part of the art.In the Red is presented at SOMArts Cultural Center as part of the Affordable Space Program, which is supported by the San Francisco Arts Commission.

World-renowned fire sculpture mavens, the Flaming Lotus Girls, invite you to join us for our annual fundraiser, art show and general good time!  Be inspired in the gallery, bid on auction items (rad Xmas shopping), whet your whistle with delicious cocktails and light noshes, shake your booty with amazing BRC DJs, and celebrate community...  
We'll have a silent auction featuring over 50 limited edition prints, art made by individual Flaming Lotus Girls, and other special items donated by our friends and family.
