About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 15 minutes

Whether you're playing a local community event, at a club, bar, or just your living room, B2B DJing involves flow and reading the room but also preparation, structure, and two-way communication.

This class will cover tips and insights in B2Bing including vision and flow of a set, sharing and organizing music, reading the room, and matching different styles while maintaining a consistent vibe. We’ll also touch on live communication and staying synced while respecting the flow.

Ultimately, this session is about how a little structure in your preparation can free you to improvise more confidently during the set, and how collaborating in real-time can elevate the experience for both DJs and dancers alike.

Whether you're new to B2Bing or looking to sharpen your game, this session will offer practical advice gained from our many hours of B2B experience together. Stick around after the class for a 30-minute live B2B demo.

Please arrive by 7:45PM, class will start promptly at 8PM.

$12 Suggested donation - Cash, Venmo or Zelle at the door.

After class, stay for music from local DJs from the DMV!
