Interaction with adults and other children, Exploration of their environments, each other, and themselves, and Play... all these things are expected and natural in the first years for young children. This session will offer information on preferred sensory styles and how important the senses are to learning. Participants will discuss biting, grabbing, pinching, all the typical “negative” behaviors to be expected and how to plan children’s activities and classroom environment to manage and/or reduce these behaviors.
