Thrive will help you find your footing as a new parent. It will also help you confidently place one foot in front of the other as you learn all about your new role.
The Thrive class:
Provides an opportunity for you to deeply connect with other new moms;
Helps you discover the new aspects of yourself as a mother;
Helps you develop the tools you need to care for your family;
Helps you find balance in the “new normal.”
Important things to know before you register:
This class series is for people who have recently given birth and have a newborn between 1 and 4 months old.
Public restrooms are available.
The group will meet at the covered pavilion if weather allows; if too hot, an indoor, air conditioned space if available.
What you'll need to bring:
Camp chair or blanket to sit on
Lunch and/or snacks, water
Supplies for your baby, such as diapers, wipes, etc.
Each class addresses a specific topic. Guest speakers with professional experience in topics appear for certain weeks:
Class 1 - Connect + share your story
Class 2 - Infant care +sleep
Class 3 - Feeding the New Family
Class 4: Postpartum mood support
Class 5: Renew - Changing relationships
Class 6: Self-care for new mothers
