About this event

Integrate science and literature by reading captivating books supported by simple but engaging experiments and activities! Children use items like magnets, energy sticks, common chemicals, toy animals, rocks, and shadow puppets to reinforce the science content in the books. Experiments, games, and activities reinforce critical thinking and student involvement. Much-loved book choices such as Goodnight Moon, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Mouse Paint will be presented (as well as excellent books that may be unfamiliar to educators) that lend themselves to the teaching of science!
