This is a direct approach to offering clients doing sand tray by the clinician asking the client to create something directly. It’s only an ask if the client doesn’t have to do the prompt, but it’s a way of helping a client to process something directly.
This 6 hour training will introduce you to the world of Sandtray play Therapy! It will be an interactive training , and you will have opportunities to interact with the presenter and other participants. This will make for an enjoyable hands on training.
Sandtray therapy is a powerful technique that can be used with children, teens and adults, families, and couples in play therapy sessions. Using a directive or non-directive approach, it is a fun tool to incorporate into play therapy sessions. We will discuss how to create physical and virtual sandtrays.
