About this event

  • 3 hours

The month of May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month. In celebration, Milton at Third Space Asian America will be sponsoring the showing of a wonderful and award-winning documentary called Far East Deep South. This will be Milton's first in-person event since starting Third Space AA in 2020. In this heart-warming film, a Chinese-American family’s search for their roots leads them to the Mississippi Delta, where they discover surprising family revelations and uncover the racially complex history of Chinese immigrants in the segregated South. This event includes Q&A with the producer, Baldwin Chiu, whose family the film is about. Check out the trailer above.
