About this event

Join us in the galleries for a drop-in sketching session with artist educator Laurain Park!

Create, connect, and sketch with fellow artists, while drawing inspiration from the Portrait Gallery's collection. These drop-in style workshops will include all supplies. Open to artists of all levels, ages 18 and up.

Please meet us in the galleries. The visitor information desks can point you to the correct galleries. A friendly reminder that the museum opens at 11:30am, please do not arrive earlier.

Please find below the dates and corresponding galleries that we will be drawing in:

March 13th: "20th Century Americans"

March 20th: "James Baldwin and the Voices of Queer Resistance" and "Felix Gonzalez Torres: Always to Return"

March 27th: "America’s Presidents"
