About this event

Meet us at the Whitworth for a wonderful evening of life drawing at the gallery. In collaboration with the gallery’s new exhibition The 'Death' of the Life Room (6 June 2024 – 12 January 2025).


The evening will begin with a curator-led tour, aimed to inspire and provide insightful background information on the exhibitions. Life drawing starts at 6pm. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and a complimentary glass of wine or soft beverage.


Materials provided (A3 paper, graphite, pencils). A limited number of easels are available on a first come first served basis. All drawing abilities are welcome.


We look forward to a creative evening with you!

Can I pay card/cash in person ?

Yes, cash/card payments accepted. Please arrive in time before the life drawing begins.

Can I bring my own materials ?

Yes, however only dry mediums including pencils, conté, crayons and similar. ***No wet mediums allowed for this session(watercolour, acrylics, ink pens, markers etc) . Sketchbooks and digital drawing tablets welcome.
