About this location

Join IN A LANDSCAPE for a time of classical music and cultural storytelling on the Warm Springs Reservation in Warm Springs Oregon.

At 5 pm, we will gather in a sprawling meadow against a backdrop of Mt. Jefferson to welcome Warm Springs tribal elders to the stage to share stories about the culture and traditions of the Warm Springs, Wasco, and Paiute tribes. Come early enough to visit the tribal vendor stands where you can support their community by purchasing gifts of beadwork, photography, and original art.

The concert begins at 6 pm and will feature as special guest artist the award-winning Native American flutist, James Edmund Greeley.

A gentle reminder: Respect the sacredness of the site by refraining from picking up or removing any objects, including plant life.

Please be mindful that alcohol of any kind is not permitted on Reservation land. Let's come together to appreciate this cultural celebration in harmony with the natural beauty of the Warm Springs Reservation.

Once at the concert site, the terrain is very uneven and rocky, unsuitable for wheeled mobility devices, challenging for those with mobility issues. Please see the FAQ section below for additional details on accessibility, dogs, food, and other details about this specific location.

Good Neighbor Program

IN A LANDSCAPE’s Good Neighbor Program provides access to those who might not otherwise be able to afford a ticket to this outdoor classical music experience. Good Neighbor tickets will be distributed to all Warm Springs residents who register through our partner, the Warm Springs Community Action Team.

Organized by

A nonprofit founded in 2016 by classical pianist Hunter Noack, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild™ is an outdoor concert series where America's most stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall. A 9-foot Steinway grand piano travels on a flatbed trailer to National Parks, urban greenspaces, working ranches, farms, and historical sites for classical music concerts that connect people with each landscape. To meet the acoustical challenges of performing in the wild, music is transmitted to concert-goers via wireless headphones. No longer confined to seats, audiences are able to explore the landscape, wander through secret glens, lie in sunny meadows, and roam old growth forests.
