Join us for our first international concert when IN A LANDSCAPE travels to Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity in Banff, Alberta, Canada where Hunter attended a “Concert as Theatre” residency in 2010, sowing early seeds for IN A LANDSCAPE! Set in the pristine wilderness of the Canadian Rockies, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is a learning organization built upon an extraordinary legacy of excellence in artistic and creative development with an aim to inspire everyone who visits – artists, leaders, and thinkers – to unleash their creative potential.

Concert check-in opens at 6:00 pm, and the performance begins at 7:00 pm.

This event takes place on the traditional Treaty 7 territory. These sacred lands are a gathering place for the Niitsitapi from the Blackfoot Confederacy, of whom the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations are part; the Îyârhe Nakoda of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; the Tsuut’ina First Nation; the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich this vibrant community.

Good Neighbor Program

IN A LANDSCAPE’s Good Neighbor Program provides access to those who might not otherwise be able to afford a ticket to this outdoor classical music experience. A number of tickets have been made available at this concert for local families through our partnership with Banff Centre for the Arts and their networks throughout the community.

Frequently asked questions

How accessible is this concert venue? Will shuttle service be available?

The walk from the parking areas to the concert site is 800 to 950 yards on paved pathways with wheelchair accessible ramps. The concert site is on even manicured grass on a slope. No shuttle service will be provided.

Will you refund or exchange my tickets for a different IAL show?

There are no refunds or exchanges for a different show. If you need assistance with your order, email our ticketing office at tickets@inalandscape.org.

Could I transfer my tickets to another person?

Are dogs allowed at this concert venue?

Leashed dogs that are friendly and well-behaved are permitted, with a maximum leash length of six feet. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Do I need to bring my own chair or blanket?

Yes, bring your favorite outdoor chair and/or blanket where the terrain is appropriate. If you do bring high-back chairs, we ask that you place your chairs towards the side or back of the seating area to not block your neighbors' view.

May I bring a picnic? Will any food be available for purchase?

Outside food and NON-alcoholic drinks are permitted. Food and drink available for take-out purchase at the on-campus restaurant

Is alcohol permitted at this venue?

No outside alcohol allowed. Bar service will be available at the venue.

What if it rains, or is extremely hot or smoky?

All IN A LANDSCAPE concerts are rain or shine events. We encourage guests to bring rain and heat protection as needed.

What if an event is cancelled?

In the case of an event that would make the performance impossible, IAL will cancel by 9am on the day of the performance and will make all attempts to notify ticketed patrons. If IAL cancels an event, we will work with the venue to reschedule and your ticket will be valid for the rescheduled event.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is prohibited at all times.

How do I get a set of headphones for the concert?

Your ticket includes the use of our specially designed IN A LANDSCAPE headphones. Pick up your set when you check in, and immerse yourself in this one-of-a-kind audio experience.

Will you have merchandise available for purchase?

We will have merchandise available, where permitted, including Hunter Noack’s chart-topping “In A Landscape” album, available in CD, MP3, or Vinyl.
