Description

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Join Mark Graban for two interactive workshops focused on improvement methodologies - you will get two workshops for the price of one.

In the morning the focus will be on the “Measures of Success:” This half day’s workshop activities are designed to help you overreact less, improve more, and lead better. You’ll learn to distinguish signal from noise in metrics and performance measures, allowing you to make better use of limited time to focus and prioritize improvement. Attendees will participate in the famed “Red Bead Experiment,” which is a fun way to bring these lessons to life. We will also learn how to create and interpret “process behavior charts” that help us understand when statistically-significant improvements have been made or when a system requires the right kind of investigation and improvement interventions.

The remaining half day will be spent learning the key leadership behaviors that allow a culture of continuous improvement to grow and thrive in Mark's “Growing a Culture of Continuous Improvement workshop. This workshop is built around another interactive exercise that allows participants to practice the mechanics and the mindsets of the “Kaizen” style of continuous improvement. The goal of a Kaizen approach is to engage everybody in small improvements that provide benefit to employees, customers, and the organization.

The combination of these two half days will give you practical, proven methods to take back to your organization to be used immediately.
