If you are a job seeker looking to take your career search to the next level, join us for this workshop to learn skills that will enhance your search. Students and job seekers with disabilities, employment specialists and anyone supporting a job-ready individual with a disability is welcome to attend, and pre-registration is requested for all attendees. The workshops will be appropriate for all levels and career paths, and we are happy to provide accommodation when requested and with enough notice.

11am - 12pm: Improve Your Interview Performance
Learn how to nail your interview, how to finesse difficult questions and how to make sure you put your best foot forward to increase your chances of getting hired. Benefit from peer practice and group discussion.
+ stick around to keep learning. . . 
12pm - 12:30pm - "Lunch and Learn!" Join us during this brief break.  We'll watch an inspiring Ted Talk to reenergize and rejuvenate before the second workshop of the day. Feel free to bring a snack or lunch, as food will not be provided. 
12:30 - 1:30pm - Disclosure and Requesting Accommodation Learn if, when, where and why you might disclose your disability during your job search as well as once you're employed. Create a disclosure statement that will help you shine anywhere along that journey, plus learn how to request accommodation on the job so that you can have a successful and healthy career. <A HREF="https://disclosureandaccommodation.eventbrite.com" TARGET="_blank">Click here </A>to register for this workshop!

 FAQs
Who can attend this event? Job seekers with disabilities are invited to participate, plus employment specialists, counselors, job developers, support staff, parents, teachers, etc..
 What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Visit Trimet.org to see what public transportation route is available from your starting point. If you are driving, you can access Smart Park at 1st and Jefferson, or a private parking lot at 1st and Columbia. Limited metered street parking may be available. We are not able to validate for parking or public transit tickets. What should I bring to the event?
Bring a pen and paper for note taking, and a snack or lunch as food will not be provided. You may bring support staff with you but please make sure they register so that we have plenty of space for everyone.

 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Nope!
 Will you provide an accommodation? Of course! Just let us know what you need to be successful at the event, preferably three or more days in advance. ASL interpreters will be provided upon request only.
