Shake on the Lakeis a non-for-profit professional theatre company that specializes in performer-driven, fast, fun, physical theatre to create simple spectacle onstage (and off).  Based in Silver Lake, NY,  Shake on the Lake advocates and acts ascreative place-makers in underserved rural communities in Western New York State, hosting a full year of programming including Summer Shakespeare Tour, Winter Performances, and Educational Programming.Our missionis to use theatre and the performing arts to inspire and re-imagine community through performance, education, and creative placemaking.  We specialize in serving rural communities and underserved populations in the Silver Lake, NY region, by bringing high-quality professional theatre productions and innovative arts education programming to the community.

Join us back at Theatre@37 for the first time since March 2020, with Josh Marcks &amp; Josh Rice, THE JOSHES! Bring some pals, a mask, and grab an adult beverage during another evening of unscripted, absurd, hilarious joshing around with Improv@37!This month, Josh &amp; Josh debut a brand-new long-form format--Karaokeprov! You pick the songs you want to see the Joshes karaoke, and based on those performances, the Joshes will create comedic scenes inspired by the songs! *NOTE: Health &amp; Safety protocols will be enforced, in accordance with NYS Re-opening Guidelines for Indoor Performing Arts Events. Proof of Vaccination and a Mask will be required. To enter, you must provide Proof of COVID Vaccination (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson &amp; Johnson) or Proof of Negative COVID Test (in last 3 days prior to event). You must wear a mask to watch the show. If you do not have one, a mask will be provided to you.
