What is you refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Students may receive a full refund or a future class credit up to 7 days before your class start date. This applies to in-house classes taught directly by Bay Cities Improv Company. There is a 30-day policy on workshops. Credit Card fees are non-refundable at any time and not included in refunds.

Where are classes taught?

Our training facility is located at Innovation Portal,  358 St Louis St, Mobile, AL 36602. Unless otherwise posted, all of our classes will be there.

Question 3

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

There is plenty of free parking in the blocks surrounding Innovation Portal. There is also a parking lot behind the building. However, entrance to the building is on St. Louis Street.

Question 4

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable clothes (and shoes). Improv is a highly participatory activity and you will need to feel relaxed.

Question 5

What if I'm afraid of being on-stage or making mistakes?

Accepted Answer

Most people are... and that's a fear that improv will help you overcome. An improv stage is a non-judgmental space meaning that you will make mistakes. And that's how we learn!

Question 6

What is the class schedule like?

Accepted Answer

Our classes for six consecutive weeks in two hour blocks on the same day that you signed up for. Attendance is EXPECTED as each week builds upon the teachings of the weeks prior.  The seventh week is our showcase week and you will be able to perform an improv show for your family and friends.

Question 7

What if I'm going to be late for one of the sessions?

Accepted Answer

Class begins promptly at the time scheduled. Please note that the front doors are locked and someone will be there to let you 15 minutes before class time. If you are running late, please call your instructor as soon as you realize it so that arrangements can be made to open the door for you.
